WOLFGANG PROKSCH

Founded in the 1980s, Wolfgang Proksch evolved from PROKSCH’S into WOLFGANG PROKSCH at the turn of the millennium, a name now protected worldwide. Based in Germany, Proksch draws inspiration from extensive travel and debuted his eyewear collection at SILMO Paris in the late 1980s.

Collaborations and strong ties to influential design circles in the US and Europe propelled the brand to international recognition, with frames worn by icons such as Brad Pitt, Elton John, Mick Jagger, and Jil Sander, and featured in leading fashion magazines.

A significant style element is the protected elastical revolute joint—“Touch Hinge”, which -in a unique way-creates a balanced spring effect.

Titanium and acetate - both of Japanese origin are used exclusively in producing the glasses, in order to achieve the excellent haptics and visibly exquisite surface aesthetics.
