MADE IN JAPAN
Fukui is one of Japanese prefectures that has own culture and history, surrounded by mountains and ocean. Most of Japan made eyewear produced In Fukui Sabae city, the share is large than 95%.
The technique and a spirit of Japanese craftsmen have been passed down from generation. Nowadays, most Japanese manufacturers create eyewear by an advanced technology and a machine.
However, here in Fukui prefecture, YUICHI TOYAMA.’S eyewear is still created by craftsman’s hands and eyes especially at the critical and finishing process.
DESIGNER - YUICHI TOYAMA
Starting from 2017 Spring Collection, renewing the brand name as "YUICHI TOYAMA" from "USH". Our brand philosophy is "Traditional skills with innovative design".
He designs frames based on his 5 basic works (LOOK, THINK, DRAW, MAKE, BREAK), and the products produced by him are unique, but are always designed with full of conscious for user's daily use. His design has become established globally now.
